View Full Version : Help With Projector Lights
Hey guys, obviously im new to the site! Im only young but recently bought my first car.. a 93 sky blue honda civic.. But with the car,the people i got it from also gave me the projector lights in the box and all.. I dont really want them but took them anyway but just realised i could sell them to some one who would want them since ive already got altezza lights on my car.
Out of curiosity, how much do these projector lights range from? Im not a big car lover but since my boy frds a member on here i thought i mite try my luck.. thanks guys
Also, if i need to get the type of lights or wateva of the box, tell me and ill post it up if that makes a differance on the price.

i think they are getting sold brand new for like $400+
if 2nd hand i'd say $200 is reasonable.

Can I ask how the altezzas would effect the projector lights ?
when i brought the car the previous owner had stock lights on the car, but he gave me the rear altezzas and front projectors to put on since he had no furthur use for them.
so i put the rear altezzas on, but to put the front ones i need to take of the front bumper and i cant be bothered, thats why im selling them.
Can I ask how the altezzas would effect the projector lights ?
sorry they dont effect them, typo.

These ones look alright because they have a projector and parkers rather than the angel eyes which i dont really like.

Not only do you have to remove the front bumper...
you most likely have to change the bulb as well...
not sure on EG, but on EK they use H4 for the standard bulb
and when projector goes in you need to put in a H3 bulb...
So rewiring is required coz different fitment..

the low beam (the projector bulb) uses a H3 bulb. the high beam uses a H1. very easy to install. u dont need to do any extra re wiring as there is a harness/socket on them which plugs straight into the factory harness.
the bulbs are changed just like factory headlights. you might want to change them as the bulbs that come in them arent that bright (well the high beam are ok but the low bean are a bit yellow).
these can be installed in less than 1/2 hour. front bar takes less than 5 minutes to remove. lights the same again. most of the time will be spent adjusting the angle of the lights.
rewiring only needed for angel eyes (some soldering and new blade terminals)
i've had both types and both are easy to install:thumbsup:
