Can some one maybe clear up thes import laws, and varify on the 4 door teg,

I think it should be a 'personal import'.

Ye, I've seen a 4 door G2 around here. Technically, the 4door was never offered here, so maybe it could be imported?

I guess the G1 was the only 4 door we recieved, and even then, it was rebadged as a Rover (if i'm not mistaken)

I know there exist a great deal of both 4 door G2's and G3's in the States.

wow, my post wasn't very helpful was it...why is this in the Civic/CRX forum?

cars can be imported as a "personal" import. from what i gather its rather expencive. also under the new sevs laws cars can be imported, but i'm sure most of you already know that. I dont know the full details with bringing in personal imports but yeah I'm pretty sure you face like 40% purchase price taxes its something huge anyways. There are other ways of importing but its illegal and within a few months imposible to do.

I saw a 4 door ITR at the back entrance of Honda in Doncaster.. Personally I think it looks crap.. its too long and the back looks really weird..

there is a white 4door ITR down here in Adelaide ... was owned by a former Honda mechanic in japan apparently ... met the guy breifly once but he couldnt speak english very well so ....

as far as "personal import laws" one law I have heard of is if you live & work in japan for a year or more and have a vehicle which you purchased and used over there while living there you may import it to Australia if you return ... I think its something like that ... a friend of mine sold his show crx and moved to japan for 2 years to work and plans on buying an NSX-R and importing it when he returns ... havent heard from him since however so god knows hahahaha :D
