[CL9] FN2R to CL9 Gearbox Swap

I'm looking to replace my CL9 gearbox with an FN2R gearbox. I've been told it's just a matter of replacing the mounts / cables on both.. but then I've been told by others that only the internals are interchangeable?

Can someone please clarify this as I really don't want to start stripping down gearboxes. All I want to do is a clean swap without the headache and be on my way. Cheers

cant answer on the fitment but im hoping you are getting a gearbox from a 2009+ Fn2R so it's got LSD.

Well this one doesn't have LSD but I'm acquiring one from an EP3 for $500 with low kilometres.
