FR-V parts
I'm in WA, and I have an FR-V imported from the UK (long story...). I bought a load of spares with me, but not a windscreen - and now, of course, I need to replace the windscreen.
As this model has never been marketed in Australia, no dealers here stocks parts of course. I've looked into importing personally a screen from the UK or Europe, but the costs of shipping are prohibitive (c $1600). My local Honda dealer looked into it, but were going to end up charging me way more.
I've tried contacting Honda in Japan, but haven't had a reply to my emails.
Does anyone have any ideas about how I can get hold of this screen for anything like a reasonable sum? Is there any way to order parts directly from Japan, or China (where I believe the FR-V was also marketed)? Will Honda in Japan ship it over as part of a bigger shipments they are already sending, as a "special"?
Does anyone have any English-language contact details or Honda in Japan?
