Hey All,
I recently bought a CL9 Luxury Euro (06 model) and have found that the front passenger side 1/4 panel is sitting a bit funny, in particular the gap inbetween the door and the 1/4 panel.

A Pillar to 1/4 panel edge matches perfectly

The following gaps don't sit properly:
- Passenger headlight bottom lip sits further than the bumper
- Door edge to 1/4 panel edge
- Bonnet Edge to 1/4 panel Edge
- Bumper Passenger side top edge to 1/4 panel doesn't match
- The inside edge of the 1/4 panel near the door is warped/wavey (the other side is flat)

Will pop up some pics very shortly, but I am hoping that the 1/4 panel has just been replaced with a replica one that doesn't fit 100%.

I was going to remove the bumper and 1/4 panel to see if there is anything twisted (from what i can see from inside the engine bay).

Was wondering if anyone had any ideas in resolving the issue? I was thinking of getting another 1/4 panel

might have had a carpark bump previously

take a closer loook for evidence of repair and talk to panel shop for realigning it

Pics? What did you find?

Sounds to me like the car has taken a reasonably hard hit in the front left corner, hard enough to knock the guard panel alignment out, and the repairer has not realigned that guard panel correctly.

You may have found the reason why the car was moved on. :P

Thanks for all the help everyone much appreciated

After closer inspection it appears that the panel itself has been replaced with a non OEM panel. As a result the edges of the panel don't fit within the a pillar edges or bumper line. I've had a really good look at all the panels and everything is nice and straight behind it.
