Hey all,
I just bought a 2005 accord euro with 195k fairly cheap due to notchy gears- this is my 3rd euro so i knew they had notchy boxes. but this one is particular bad for 1st and 5th.
I just changed the box oil with penrite oil 75w 85. (similar to honda mtf06) This helped 2 3 4 & 6 but 1st and 5th are not good.
The clutch seems ok it picks ups well with no slip or shudder when testing it from 3-2nd
My next step is to bleed slave cylinder, replace fluid etc....
but im also thinking that it may be the gear shifter as 1st and 5th are the furthest throw if you know what i mean- is there adjustment in the shifter cable? does anyone have exp with adjusting this before take it apart?
