HOW MUCH OIL DOES YOU CU2 EURO USE in 5,000 KLM.

HI Guys. As i am new to honda & never owned one befor, How much oil does your CU2 Euro 2.4 use in 5000 klms.? Mine uses half way down the dip stick using The recommended 5w30 Honda oil..:eek:

All engines burn some oil. Have you topped back up and noted how much you needed to add? I dont know what half a dipstick equates to in liters.

Some CU2's do.... burn oil.

I think its 1liter from the bottom hole to the top hole on the dipstick. Could be wrong, would double check.

only way to fix it is a mini engine rebuild. thicker oil probably made it worse with more pumping resistance

Ok. Put Penrite 5w40 full synth- tenths in & now after 4,000 Kys doesn't use a drop. Very happy.
