Hey all,

Just wondering if it is worth getting the below products for the crx? They look great but would know they are worth the buy before I go through with it.

Tegiwa lower tie bar
Tegiwa front and rear strut tower bars

I figure while I am waiting to find the crx I want I will start to get some parts here and there and thought why not these.

Thank you,

Aaron.

The front upper and lower feel good, they make the steering sharper and more direct movement, like the chassis has no delay

rear one you wont feel anything different

Tegiwa seems decent from the website...

Front you'll notice the most. Rear won't be as noticable, but you'll probably notice it. Nowhere near as much as the front, but it does help. They all do their part

If this is the one http://www.tegiwaimports.com/select-car/honda/ee-ef/suspension/tegiwa-lower-tie-bar-civic-crx-ef-eg-integra-dc2.html you're referring to then my observation is this. I do not trust any brace that has an elongated (oval) attachment bolt hole. My other observation of this brace is that it is going to sit very low beneath your car.

This one http://www.tegiwaimports.com/select-car/honda/ee-ef/suspension/skunk2-clear-anodized-phi-fifty-rear-lower-arm-bar-honda-civic-crx-ef-eg-integra-dc2.html from Skunk2 on the other hand is engineered to fit exactly into the existing rear subframe and appears to include new pivot bolts that will pass through both the brace and the pivots (i.e they are lengthened) thereby tie-ing everything together securely. The body parts themselves, from a purely design standpoint are well shaped and braced for general use, bu if you've ever been tempted to jack up the car by positioning a jack under the middle box section, you'll realise how puny and weak that bit is. That brace will relieve that body section from the bending/collapsing load placed on it by extreme cornering forces. What those square pieces are for, I don't know.

My advise would be to get your money back (if you can) or consider it of decoration use only. They are made by a company that produces light tubular furniture. Their methods of mounting are useless.
