hmm not sure which 99 civic your talking about... i'm guessing its the EM1 o.O well dunno bout the EM1's dashboard but if you run a search through carsales.com.au or any other web that displays pics of a car's interior u can see it won't fit unless u spend $$$ to make it fit. i'm guessing thats how it goes due to the shape of the board where u put it in

plays MD's and CD's and has FM and AM Radio.. wanna get rid of it... i wanna get rid of it as its just collecting dust... :p $50 PM if u interested...

It would cost me an arm and a leg for u to modify the whole dash to fit in the civic... :honda: hmm not sure what best for me to do, any idea guys?

i reckon the best idea is to photochop half your 99 integra dash into your 99 civic. that way you'll get enough space for your triple din headunit. make sure you've got the lastest version of photoshop too. previous honda photoshop dashes wont fit.

i also thought that aussie delivered 99-00 civics came with the double din, but apparently this was only the case for jdm models and overseas models. Us aussies got jibbed and kept the 96-98 single din layout on the centre console. *correct me if i'm wrong*

edit: J-Mun has a single din in his 99 coupe, so i guess we did get jibbed :rolleyes:

Best is for you to buy a Single-Din HeadUnit.. Unless you're desperate for the Double-Din player, then by all means go custom.. nothing's stopping you !

um was sumone saying the double din pics were from LHD cars? cos think about it, ek9 ctrs are right had drive, 99-00 spec came wif double din, so the double din does fit into a RHD... hope this clears sumthing up, duno if anyone even asked :confused: LOL
