CL9 Thermo fan

Hi everyone

I was stuck in some traffic yesterday and noticed my 2007 cl9's temp gauge started to climb to between 3/4 and max

When I got it home I used the climate control diagnostics to watch the engine temp as it was idling and it got to 95 degrees and the thermo fan still hadn't came on, I thought it was meant to come on at 90 or 95 degrees?

Can anyone confirm this?

Maybe your thermo fan relay has gone to electronic heaven
if the temp spikes again
wind down your windows and turn the a/c to heat and turn up the fans
will help save your engine

All fixed now turns out the thermo fan motor had died.
