Hey guys, just bought myself an s2000 and I dont know what this red button on the remote even does. Pressed it a few times, nothing happened. Any clues?

that's (i think) an american remote. AUDM ones didn't come with that.
It's a panic button. If it does't work then we dont have that functionality
Also quite interesting that youh ave an american remote working on an AUDM honda

I'd say it's a panic button.
The idea is that you press it before sniffing the rag.
As Coitus said, I'm intrigued also.

yea weird, to be honest I thought it was a button that puts up my windows LOL but yea asked the owner that I bought it from and yea, he doesnt have a clue :(

As far as i'm aware, AUDM hondas, year by year have very specific frequency response when it comes to their remotes. Supposedly this is information is secret so hondie has a bit of a monopoly over the replacement/spare remote market ($270 a pop is ridiculous)
US ones are far cheaper, so your previous owner has done well
