Gidday fellas,
Just bought 07 Jazz VTi auto over the long weekend for my daily. My other car is MY13 Forester XT which is locked up in garage atm due to muffler-less state. (I'm DIY installing MY15 WRX STi Quad Tips CBE). Previous cars: 05 Accord Euro Lux. (small mods - 18" wheels and Jasma header), 87 Celica Coupe (no mod).
The Jazz is black. 80,000 kays on the clock. For its age it's in a good shape. Some minor scratches and shopping centre parking dents. Drives quite well. Few things I think need to be done to get her back to her glory days (well... with less than 100 kw, every kw counts! especially the other car is boosted):
- run couple tanks of 98 RON fuel and rev it hard every now and then (seems to open her a bit after few quick WOT today)
- do Subaru upper engine clean
- re-do the 80,000 km service (major service I think - fuel filter was left undone from previous owner)
- wheel alignment and balancing (steering wheel is a tad to the right)
- find some parts to complete her (either from here or wreckers). Need window weather shields, driver side sun visor, rear cargo blind. Optional to add/mod: yellow headlight delete, DRLs, rear wing and some ICE would be nice.
Much appreciate for sharing how to, comment, advice, direction, etc.
