Hi I was wonding if any one can help!! I'm thinking to purchasing Tein - S Tech Springs. There are 40mm front and 35mm rear. But only been tested on 195/55/15 by Tein . My wheels are 205/40/17. Will my rear wheels touch my body work? :!:

I do not think that it will lower it enough for the wheels to be near the guards.

I guess you could measure 35mm and 40mm down from the guards and see if it even reaches the level of the top of the tires.

anyway i think it shouldnt be a problem

Pete :)

Did you change the wheels? or do any mods?

It will all come down to the off-set of the wheels.

I'm running 16 inch rims lowered all the way on TEIN coilovers and it doesn't scrub at all.

my jazz is running on the stock alloy rim.. 15' that is.. do u guys know how much can i lower it without scratching the guard??? coz u know the jazz is quite tall.. i reckon lowering by 30mm wouldn't even look like the car is lowered (still a big gap between the wheel and the side panels)... or am i wrong?

S -Tech say it is a 30mm drop so the rear wheels will not rub the rear arches. I hope it true fitting it on Saturday................... I let you know.

On stock rims, they will never touch anything no matter how low you go (on the standard shocks anyway)

Iceman - where abouts in the UK are you from?

I'm from London. Ive put the springs and they make the car low. Plus it do'es not touch the body work.

buy Kings springs if u go for this Stech
they feel the same and Kings springs are a lot cheaper.

do they??? Cause I'm considering TEIN S-TECH or TEIN SUPER WAGONS if the money permits..

Zi of JDMYARD messaged me the other night on MSN and said he's got SPOON lowered springs in stock... :)

to be honest, go for coilover, if not, just get Kings springs until u have enough for coilover consider coilover is now only cost $11XX and they springs cost like $400+.
I have been told by that but I think is kind of right since I sat on Jazz with Kings Springs. It feels great and even the same as my kg/mm before.

Thanks for the info TypeG.... do you have pictures of you Jazz with the KG/MM springs? I just want to see the height of the car in relation to the wheel arches and the top of the wheels. I don't want any problems with rubbing in the guards and stuff, you know what i mean... I'm planning to get 15" or 16" rims.
