I went to change the wedge type globe (12v 5w) parking lights that had blown on a friends 98 civic. First I changed the drivers side globe and it worked no problems, then I went to change the passenger side but for some reason it wouldn't turn on. The the drivers side stopped working as well. I then checked the globes and neither had blown but when i checked with a multimeter there was not power at the sockets. Thinking maybe a fuse had blown I went in search of one but I cant seem to find where it would be located.

yes though I can only see a fuse for the main headlights, there doesn't seem to be a fuse for parking lights - though I checked all fuses and none were broken. There is no problem with the high and low beam or the indicators. Do the parking lights run off the same fuse as the headlights??

Pretty sure the parking light have their own fuse.

time to get the test lamp out and check the switch
