I have been running a vortech V2 for about 6 months with a stock clutch but it finally packed it in.
I've noticed since fitting the CC stage 2 that i have a lot of rear axle tramp when it breaks traction (most of the time) :)
Car is only running 7 psi, 255 rear tyres, koni 7's, ground control with eiback 440 lbs rear springs. Konis are adjusted mid way.
Engine & transmission mounts are new OEM (they didnt last long either).
All rear end bushes are stock & in good cond.
Any ideas?

Hey mate, firstly try posting this on the www.s2ki.com forums you will get a lot more help there about this.
So the stage 2 clutch is now the strongest point in your drive line and the diff and gearbox is now the weakest so be careful.
I have a Vortech V2 Ti kit which is going on soon, I'll be running e85 fuel with ID1350 injectors, Walbro 450 fuel pump and the rest is the usual Vortech stuff. However I will be getting a custom 7inch crank pulley and a 3.6 inch Supercharger pulley. This will give me about 16-18psi and launch myself in to the 400hp at the wheels range. Shit will break like diff housing and gearbox if I got a real hardcore clutch. So I need to get stronger diff housings as they are incredibly weak and then take it easy with the gearbox.
Do you have a after market computer for it? I'm going to sell my AEM engine management and buy a Haltech for easier tuning.
Good luck mate!

Changed rear tyres to Federal’s Ultra High Performance street legal semi-slicks 595RS-R (255-40-17).
Now wheel tramp has completely gone away.
PS grip on these tyres is great!! Unbelievable value at $160 per tyre!!
