F23a1 & f23z4

Hi the engine in my 01 odyssey F23Z4 blew a hole in the side of the block. My question is will the F23A1 Motor just bolt in or is it completely different?

Yeah it will bolt up
You may need to use the ecu from the F23a1
Try and compare ecu and wiring harness
Also how did you blow a hole in the side of the block?
-low oil?

I assume from low oil that is how I bought it. If I use all the sensors and intake manifold off the f23z4 will I still need a different ecu. All I need is for the head and block to be the same?

Most liekly theyre gonna be the same
Just some subtle differences
Best to call Honda and enquire
