My names Emily and im 22 from little ol' Tassie
I am a first time Honda owner and have a 2007 Honda Civic Type R
I joined this forum to get into the spirit of honda enthusiasm!

When i owned a Subaru my subaru group in tasmania was FANTASTIC
we had an anual quarterly meet and just get together for BBQs and to see the progress on everyone elses car

The general car scene in Tassie isnt amazing.. but there are some diamonds hiding about down here!

theres only a few honda peeps in tassie i believe, they were saying that it wasnt big either..

hows the gear boot in yours? i have the same car, i think its been replaced in the past and needs to be replaced again.....

Brought it from Mackay QLD, drove it back home to Tassie :)
was a long drive
and added 4,000kms in the 3 weeks i have owned it hahaha

ive owned mine for around 2 weeks, ive put on 1500kms already lol

any issues with yours? does yours have a slight whine at all?

cant seem to figure out if all fn2s have a whine or not

i was freaking out a bit driving it home
its only faster than 90kms/h and only within a 3,500-5,000 rev range

I have been told it is the V-Tech winding down and nothing to worry about
so I havent worried about it since

yeah thats a few kms for just day to day driving!!!

very nice car to drive! Which i needed going from Mackay to Tassie... just need to learn how to drive a FWD car after owning an AWD for 3 years.. damn wheel spin does NOT help when its raining!

I guess yours isn't the only whiner given Renzo's post, my ep3 makes noise but I expected it given the music my intake and exhaust make.

Hehe I'm guessing the civic has more talk then the scoobi?

I went to a small fn2 gathering here in Perth the other night, he other guys all had the same whine...

Fn2 got no talk whatsoever lol, after driving the fn2 for a few weeks I got in the polo, farrrrkkkkk
