Luxury model leather front seat removal

So loaned the missus cl9 to a colleague and she mistakingly tried to move the seat forward by yanking on the bar underneath (not realising they are electric) enough to dislodge it.

Tried to refit the worm drive and tube that houses it with seats in the car but not enough room.

What's involved in removing the seats, anybody done this and have some tips?
