Hi all, had my euro from new and always Honda serviced. Trouble with driveline hunting in 2nd gear mainly, real jurky and worse when cold. Keep the revs up in first and change gear and it improves some? but only just. Worse with aircond on though but the engine does not miss a beat.very frustrating with my Golf 7 1.4 TSI manual crapping all over it for smoothness down low.

uh? say wut?

If you cannot shift into 2nd without double clutch or rev match then I would assume its the syncro.

Or you just letting the clutch out too aggressively? I've noticed when teaching newbies manual - this part of the balance they are getting wrong.

Very unsure of what you mean by driveline hunting?

Its normal for the biting point to change when the engine is under load eg - extra weight, a/c on, wet weather, abusing the clutch (burnouts, riding/feathering) etc etc.
