Can someone with a dc2r please confirm with me if all dc2rs came stock with a rear impact support beam which sits behind the bumper?

yes they did. I believe it was slightly thinner than the standard dc/eg/ek , much like how the front is a lightweight version of the same.

DO NOT run without one. a light rear end accident will write off your car easily without it

Yeh that's what I was guessing as well. Thanks Ben

Ben can you clarify if the rear reinforcement on a pre-facelift dc2/4 will fit a facelift model dc2/dc4? Or if anyone can clarify? Thanks

dc2r's do not have rear bumper crash reo's or foam support. They only have some sort of very thin metal strip to support rear bumper.
