Hiya peeps.

well the problem is my stereo in my car has just recently stopped working i dont know why...

what happened is, i installed my new 6x9s and everything was working fine for about a week and a half.. then suddenly it just cut out? iv checked all fuses everythin i can think of......

when i turn the head unit on i hear a little pop from the front left speaker, the the buttons which are lite up turn off but the display stays on..

does this happen if you have a flat battery? mine is dying down..
can anyone help me???

Try and check the fuse that is connected to the deck...... There is normally a fuse connected to the yellow wire on your deck...

sounds like your speaker cable might be shorting...

make sure ur speaker wires are properly installed. like not touching any metal part of the car.

something similar happen to my car. as u said ur front speaker is making some noise. take ur front speakers out and check to see if the back of the speaker where u hook up the wires is not touching the metal.

If it is then get some sticky tape foam, like sticky tape with padding and tape it around the metal part to stop the interference.
