hmm, 6K might not be too far.
Did you know the stock x-over point is 5800 for low load and 5300 for high load?

Depending on the setup & tune, the low cam configuration may make power this high.

It does seem a bit strange though, ive never set x-over this high on any of the B16's ive tuned

I came across the above post while reading some of the threads in the bowels of ozhonda and I'm not sure what the term 'load' means in the above context. Can anyone shed some light for me?

Engine load - essentially throttle opening. Light throttle = low load - wide throttle opening = high load.

Thanks heaps. I wasn't aware that vtec could engage at anything other than full throttle on a B16A. 5300k engagement is news to me too...
