Has anyone ever used parts made by cusco? How did they compare to other brands? Are they durable or a waste of money?

Cusco is a reputable brand that actively participates in most professional motorsport disciplines.

A few brands are said to have Cusco made parts then re-branded.

Wow! I only asked cause I've been looking at some of their suspension sets and they are heaps cheaper than some of the other brands. I wasn't sure whether that was because they were inferior or because they wanted their parts to be affordable...

Is it a coincidence that nearly all the second hand cusco coilovers on the market have leaks

Will you be willing to send yours overseas if that happens to you

You be the judge

Cusco aren't that well known for their suspension, they're not favoured compared to Teins, Showa, Mugen, GAB Japan, etc.

Cusco's Non-competition spec [Comp series] coilovers aren't that well received. Quite typical as many JDM branded coilovers, too stiff spring rate, undervalved/underdampered. Many sing praises at first but after trying different brands, see it differently.

DreadAngel, do you know if all of the Tein suspension sets keep the same stroke length when you adjust the height or if they bottom out if you go too low? Specifically the Street Flex kit: http://www.tein.com/products/street_flex.html
I'm not sure what to look for and it doesn't outline it like it does for the mono sport set: http://www.tein.com/products/mono_sport.html

Check out the tech, its all there ;)

Any suspension will bottom out if you go to extremities it's not designed for.

Do you mean the tech info page for the del sol eg1? I've been looking at it and I'm trying to figure out what it all means. I'm useless, I know. I don't know what I'm looking for.

No no, Tein has a tech explanation linked to it here (http://www.tein.com/products/features.html)

You can also check out my thread here (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?185205-Handling-Help-Threads) for some light self help too :)
