honda wheels...

hey guys...
i was at my local BP in caroline springs, when a bloke, say in his 30's looks at me n tells me to go over, n he starts yapping on about my car n wheels... mind u there just standard honda 15" 5 spokes....
he wants to buy them off me but 2 problems exist....

1) i dont know how much i should sell them for... ( new tyres less than 2 weeks old on all 4)

2) i dont have any other rims to put on... (if anyone can help me with wheels please do)

depending on the tyres you have on them and what you paid for them - theres your leverage... but normally a stock set of wheels can fetch anywhere between $200 and $400 i recon + Tyres.

Decission is up to you if you want to sell the wheels or tyres under their price - if you want to sell them at all...?? if you do - too high a price will disencourage the buyer - but you also don't want to rip yourself off.

I would probably say about $600-$700 for the set and tyres. $50 per wheel $100 per tyre...

if he takes it you're gain - if he doesn't - you don't loose nothing. I wouldnt' do it any cheaper...

from what I know wreckers charge in excess of $100 per wheel... so you might want to tell him $800 and have a bit to work with... that way you get more like $75 per wheel.. up to you..

im sure someone here will have a set they can lend you for a while... are you thinking of getting mags?

Sell the rims and get steel stockies and if there not black enough spray em a dark Matt black go for the jdm look yO

Can you post a pic of these 15" 5 spokes? I've seen 14" 5 spokes but not 15's.

seen em on a couple of prel's going around... a mate's brother also has them on his.... im not sure how to post up pics but if someone wants to ill send the pic to their email and if not not to much hassle, they can post it up for everyone else to see....

a bloke from my work is going to sell a set of lenso c5's 17" soon, they come of his monster of a rx4... btw thing f****** boogies! so see4 how much he wants, but still untill he does im abit lost for rims...
