Hi Guys,

I had the dealer install rear sensors and i have a feeling they installed them incorrectly too high or angled up.

The reason i say this is because i reversed into a curb which damaged the bottom of the rear bumper.

the sensors do not seem to detect low objects.

Should the sensors detect low objects?
or is everyone's the same?

i went to the dealer to get them to fix the sensor and the bumper but they kept saying that's how the sensors they don't detect low objects... i don't believe them...

I think if something is high enough to hit into the car's bumper should be detected...if not it wasn't installed correctly.

Do i have a case?

Would appreciate your opinions

looks like a normal position. When in doubt , you should of read the included instructions which clearly would of stated the operating range. You have no claim to make to the installer.

PS You should not rely on parking sensors....use your eyes like everyone else

I have a CU2 Accord Euro Lux that comes standard with reverse sensors and that look about in the same position.
I wouldn't say it's too high.

Fyi, I've seen some installed half way down the bumper and it looks weird.
