Anyone know if it can still be repaired?

I'd say so. As long as none of the carbon fibres are poking through the gel (in which case you've sanded down too far) it should be very repairable.
Just sand off the old clear coat (being careful not to go too deep, as mentioned above). Then get it painted with a clear 2 pack (take it to a spray shop who can clear it next time they do a paint job) or just hit it with a good quality can of acrylic clear. The latter probably won't be as good quality as a professional 2 pack, but should still come out ok.

I think I'll just give it to my local spray painter to do everything, don't really trust myself sanding it haha. Thanks for the info!

How can you trust others? He doesn't have to, if they mess it up they must replace it or pay him damages. Got to love the law (when it suits).

Dude you could do that at home for under $100.

Get sandpaper, 800 -1200

Elbow grease wet sand. Start rough work way up to fine.

clean with wax and grease

Find a friend with a compressor and gun. or buy spray can clear coat, just remember to stop and let can build pressure every now and then.

Get clear coat and some thinner (depandn on which clear you got)

mix

clean shed/garage/room

few coats.

dry time

cut and polish.

keep her wax'd and protected once a year or so and it wont happen again.

watch some vids on youtube. spend savings on other mods.

If you take HD photos of it before it goes in, it's easy to prove that they damaged it....

Photos have time and date, in court that would count. If you had a photo from 20 minutes before the shop worked on it and the wing was fine and then after where its f-ed then obviously something would have happened in between...whether it would be worth going to court over is a different story but with photo evidence it's open and shut.
