Hi guys, run into an issue with my dc2 about a week ago.

- When accelerating at more than 1/4 throttle, engine will rev like it is in neutral
- Idle is normal and driving is smooth, however no power after more than 1/4 throttle is applied.
- Is it potentially the throttle body that is playing up? When i adjusted that black piece on the throttle body cable (see picture) , seemed to make the problem less drastic for a day but then problem went back to original seriousness.

Any ideas what the problem may be?

(Note: picture is from online, can take a picture of my cable tomorrow)

Is it manual?

Sounds like the clutch is slipping.

Clutch issue for sure.

Mate had a similar issue with his Prelude.

Try to take off in 4th from a stop. If revs but car no move, clutch is forked.

Can symptoms of clutch slipping still occur when a new clutch has been installed for 6 months?

You can root a clutch in a day if you really try to.

^ True that.

It really shouldn't after 6 months. All depends on how you drive.

Hey guys, found and fixed the problem. Was the clutch master cylinder/slave cylinder. Essentially the clutch was not fully engaging after the pedal was completely disengaged. Clutch is still going strong haha. Thanks for the replies.

Ah you got lucky man. Luckily you didn't have to get the clutch changed!
