Civic Confusion ???

Guys, please check this out.. a 1.5 SOHC VTEC ?? I have never seen one on the road. It states Civic Vei.. Is this a limited edition ?? At first I thought he made a mistake thinking its a 1.5 but then it doesnt have any sunroof so it cant be a VTi.. Please shed some light here..

yes the 1.5sohc vtec is the economical version of vtec

Correct, thier is a 1.5l SOHC VTEC which is rated the same power output as a 1.6L VTi motor. It was made for the malay market. The same car also came with a LSD, the only SOHC factory LSD :)

It's Asian Market and not really worth thinking about as it's easier to put in a 1.6 SOHC VTEC in terms of ADRs/emissions.
