The Honda Civic Type R is the highest performance version of the Honda Civic made by Honda Motor Company of Japan. It features a lightened and stiffened body, specially tuned engine and upgraded brakes and chassis. Red is also used in the interior to give it a special sporting distinction and to separate it from other Honda models. The drive train is largely the same as the outgoing model, offering 148kW (198hp) at 7,800rpm and 193Nm (142ft-lbs) of torque at 5,600 rpm.

Knowing what lubricant to use in any model you have is easy. Just go to www.FindMyOil.com.au (http://clixtrac.com/goto/?196421) and either type in the make and model into the quick search bar or search using the drill down function.

Here’s how to find the right Motul oil for your car:

The same features of refill capacity and recommended product are found in the Manual Transmission, Automatic Transmission and Differential sections.

In some cases there is a note “Refer MOTUL”. This is either due to a change of equipment mid-model or certain requirement for using Motul in this compartment.

Almost all OEM’s do not keep a record of the volume required for a full flush of the braking system. So in the case of the Brake fluid section, only the recommended product is displayed:

The Radiator section may have 2 or 3 refill capacities depending on the models being viewed. This is due to variances between Auto and Manual models. Motul recommends going with the larger volume to be sure you have enough.
Also seen here is a reference to a note: “See note 1840 below.” It is important to always check the note!

Here is the note section, found at the footer of the recommendation list:
