Edit just heard that,, "" The ballasts headlights are different with standard headlights even the ballasts are pulled off. The headlight housing are different""

So with the fully lights any idea how you would wire them?

They run a mitsubishi w3t16571

The HID headlights are deisgned for HID bulbs which have a different sized/shape filament compared to the haolgen bulbs... So yes, they are different.

You can always install a PnP type kit if you want HIDs, just remember to re-aim them. There's a small chance you'll get pulled over but you'd have to be asking for it to get defected for it.

Also try asking all your queries in this thread ==>http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?69309-Your-Mods-To-2006-2011-FD-Civics

Thanks heaps mate appreciate the help. Newbie ill know for next time.

Yeah that place sells some nice kits they are the best from what have seen, but looks big work to fit and modify the light to accept it

But I was going to write huge detail and part numbers diagrams etc. Is anyone interested in me doing this??? ...

So is that other thread the place for it to keep a continuous thread of information going. Wont it get disjointed?

I have a honda contact ill buy them new ex japan, if they are different . Just the wiring side will be fun.. anyone know best way to nut that out

I could aim them down and get a kit just prefer oem.

If I dont go oem thats the kit i was looking at

Also do go overboard with the color temp.

Just get 4300K, the higher you go over this, the more blue the light will look and the higher the chance you will get pulled over.
Go to 6000K or higher you are just asking for your car to get defected.

Temp wise I'll just be running oem bulbs so should be sweet
