16x7 +42 on DC2R

Im over my current wheels. They sink in to much to the guard and dont look the best, so I was told i need a wheel with a bigger offset? They are 16" HRV wheels which I believe are 6" wide.

Does anyone have an opinion on the wheels above, I want to get 16x7 +42. Will they be a good fit my DC2R with the 205/45/16 tire, and not be as sunk in as what i currently have? Lowered only a little bit and I have no existing rubbing issues.

JDM ITR uses 16x7 so im guessing it should be ok?

What would i need to do to achieve the wheels to sit flush with the guard ?

Also has anyone had experience with JHPUSA ?

IMO 16 7 42 should run 215 45 16. Looks alot nicer fills the guard alot better on dc2r

I got 205/45/16 on mine looks good not much difference

Yeah wouldn't look much difference. I had the jdm 16s with 205 45 16 re002 when placed back down rim hits . 215 clears it fine. Just my opinion

Feeling drunk never mind wrong direction completely back to front to what I said. Wouldn't be the first time... Should fit fine, you would be needing a +32 offset before you're out as far as what I am with my 8inch wide rims at +45, although your tyre profile will be a bit taller. You have at least 10mm of clearance before you get anywhere near the guards.
