Yeah check the price of genuine first because alot of the OEM Honda filters are actually quite cheap!

the quality of the repco filters is ok... use them this time and just use honda stuff next time, it isnt going to hurt, i would say that the quality wouldnt be as good as honda but they are definately not that bad.

the champion plugs are ok too... personally i would prefer ngk but i have run champion in a few of my cars in the past and found them to be the same as the ngk equivalent

Nothing wrong with Repco filters, i've used them on all my cars and never had a problem. It all depends on how badly you want to stick to OEM Honda parts and i guess it comes down to how much you are willing to pay as well. ;)

their fuel filters are a bit cheaper. thats about it, the rest go OEM.

Also the champion plugs Vs NGK... whats the price diff? $5??? not worth it really the NGK are a better.

Think about this for a minute. Honda doesnt manufacture filters (or coolant oil for that matter!!!) and Repco doesnt either, so they are both 'debadged' filters... Chances are they might even buy them from the same manufacturer!!

There isnt anything wrong with Repco filters or Champion spark plugs mate, both 'brands' will be fine to use!

not really an "unbiased" opinion - as i work for the said company - but our idea on the repco branded filters is that they are as good or better quality than the original manufacturers product ( we won't put our name on them if they don't meet our quality standards ). I use them in my own vehicle (oil and fuel filters - my air is a k&n ) the factory we get them from DOES in fact make filters for the OE market (not going to say which manufacturer though :) ) but price wise check the price of honda ones (they are very competitive on air filters especially) as far as plugs go - i do have a preference for NGK , but that's from years of experience and only my own opinion.... :D

i think price wise champion and ngk equivelent standard are about the same price of about 4 bucks, id choose champion if i had the choice however
