Some suggestions

Hi team,

I'm pretty sure this hasn't been brought up officially before, is it possible to have the option to perform Hard Delete/Remove Post & Thread Link. Currently everyone including moderators afaik can only soft delete. We should be allowed to hard delete both our post and threads + remove the link, this will clean up the forum a lot especially in regards to these spam members.

Was also thinking about new members having a validation process where they register then they're placed as a validating member till an Admin/Mod validates them. Validation should have something like send to OH email with a photo of them, some random objects [Milk and bread is popular], a sign with their username to be taken with their car if they have one.

Just some ideas I had.

The spammers aren't that bad at the moment, plus bennjamin and ecu-man clean it up before anyone notices anyway.

Next , under the current ownership the owner doesn't want to implement such a "hack" for vb.
It is considerably more work for the Mods/admin , less safe upon the database etc.
There is a simple verification via Mod/admin which may come into play in the near future.

All good mate, is it possible to remove the archive links that clatter sub-forums/threads then? eg top of this thread? (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?147-Road-Rules-Regulations-Discussion) or is that counted as hard delete for vB?

Yeah I think he needs assistance since he can't get away from spam, pull too strong

I think we need to make me admin so I can ip ban all of his accounts and make sure he can take some well deserved time off
