...free plug for hondata ....
Difference to the car is simply amazing on the DC5, so much torque from down low :D

Is there like a list of mods that are preferred to be done before getting the Hondata chip + tune? Like to get the most out of the tune...
Also is it possible to tune the car to use less fuel? Any disadvantages on this?

have you tried any other ecu's with which you can benchmark this statement to give a more complete picture?

I never said that other ecu's don't perform... I was merely saying that hondata is great compared to stock. Also note that this thread is about HONDATA CHIPS for DC5.
I compare my own dyno graphs pre/post hondata and notice huge mid-range gains, hence ... free plug for hondata .... :)

that hondata setup, the $1200+ tuning one. as mentioned above. what is the model called, how much increase in power will it give a stock dc5r woth exhaust and cold air intake. and is this one a stand alone ecu that is tuned or a chip for stock ecu. :honda:

mm.. there are seriosly alot of otherways to get power out of your car without having to goto ecu. IMO ecu would be my last part i would get.
the tune itself will vary depending on mods. so you wouldent wanna tune a stock car with no mods then add mods later and find out u need to redo it for better power. IMO
