CU2 Outside Air Temp Reading waaayyyy out

As I write this, the ambient temperature outside where I live is 42C. I was driving my CU2 Accord Euro home from shopping a few minutes ago and noticed that the outside air temp reading on the dash said 25C!!!!
It sat on this reading the whole way home (about a 15 minute drive)
According to the vehicle instruction manual, I can adjust the reading up or down by up to 3C. So I tried that (adding + 3 C) and took the car for a short drive and it read 28C!

Anyone have an idea of what may be the cause of this massive error?

Well after leaving the car sitting in the garage for a few hours, everything came good and the outside air temp reading was accurate again.
BUT.......The Hands Free Phone system had wiped itself clean and I had to pair both my mobile and the wife's mobile again and also re-enter all our contacts into the data file.

So it seems that part of the vehicle's "entertainment" computer system had a major hissy fit and reset itself.
