Finally got the exhaust on, I've been thinking about doing it for a while now & finally bite the bullet and got it done.

The difference is amazing....The flow is much greatly improved. LOUD @ WOT of course, the car accelerate so easy in comparison to the twin exhaust.

I had a fear of loosing low end torque but it actually has a better low end pick up now as the engine revs up freely & quicker than before.

Best of all it's quiet at crusing speed. I love it!!

Look at the piping between the cat and the muffler, that's gotta be twice the diameter of stock! WOW! Means 4 times the flowrate! Do you lose any torque at the bottom end?

as001, price is the cost of a titanium muffer off ebay & stainless still pipe work from the joint you see in the pic to the muffer.

LOC888, here's the pic sorry not very clear. Don't have a direct rear shot.
It's a lot louder than Fujitsubo mufflers @ WOT. but on crusing speed, not much of a difference, same as stock.

Aaronng, the piping from cat back is 60mm, and becomes 63.5 just before the muffler.
Bottom end torque actually increases much to my surprise.

I think something like a clean REIMUS would be more suited to the euro, rather than a big ass cannon ... but aslong as your happy

LOL, I tried but there's no room. well at least I got a blue tip on mine:p

Yeah was eyeing on a Remus muffler, but they are heavy as. This little baby weighs less than 2kg.

Yeah got to love those titanium mufflers.. Wicked...

Don't aftermarket exhausts get a bit louder as they grow older??

Yeah I did notice after a while my muffler got louder on idle, and taking off from standstill and at crusing speeds, its just a catback N1 style muffler on my 95 Accord.

Excuse my ignorance/confusion.

You changed just the muffler? or cat-back exhaust system? :o

Good on you baboo. your Euro is probably the luckiest Euro in Brisbane area. as it has oppoturnity to enjoy different types of modification. ( once a season?)

Can't wait to see your car at our cruise day next monday.

Aaronng, the piping from cat back is 60mm, and becomes 63.5 just before the muffler.
also.. why did u set it up like this?

OK, just to clear things up,

I had a Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust system on my car, it has 60mm system as most Japanese brand NA car has, just the twin outlet has 50mm.

I reuse the B-pipe (mid pipe) from the Cat back, took off the 2 mufflers & installed a single Ti muffler.

The exhaust is loud at WOT, acceptable at half throttle, quiet at crusing speed with no droning effect at all.

Anyway, this setup will be for track use only, so i don't really care about how loud it is as I will have a helmet on & constantly @WOT. Will be swap back to twin system for road use.

The exhaust system used to look like this.
