Glad I found this forum.

I'm not much of a car person but love the Honda. My dad had a trusted Honda Civic all my 12 years of school which took us in the mornings and to Grandmas on the weekend. And recently when I moved to Melbourne, my brother handed me his 95 accord till I settled in. Well he really needed to get rid of it because the the rego was not worth paying and the wreckers would give him nothing much. Cost to make it road worthy was more than what it would fetch if sold, so I paid the rego and kept the car.

And once I did settle in, I went out and test drove a few cars but then realized, what if I could put some life into this Honda, just like my old man did. A bit of love and care could give it a few more years. Its only done 190K so I think it still has another 50K in the least if I can put some effort into it. And since I don't drive much, I guess she could be on the road for another 4 years atleast, till a family gets started.

So here Iam - a neglected Honda Accord that still runs but one that needs a bit of work.

First - I need to find a doctor. Someone who can diagnose and prescribe.
Second - a surgeon who can fix and replace
Third - a plastic surgeon who can pretty her up.

Now where do I go in Melbourne? Someone close to the Caulfield area will be ideal. I will really appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you from

Me and Webber (found her in the garage with lots of cobwebs, thus the name Webber!!)

So it's a CD accord.

Whats wrong with it exactly, and Im talking the list of things for roady?

If you want an actual Roady done to see what work's needed, theres a cheap inspection place in Thornbury, and since that place ONLY do inspections there should be less tendency to fluff stuff.

Its a long list -

Tyres
Ignition issues
Steering and suspension feel a little unstable and make noises
All sorts of lights come on the dashboard
The interior looks like an attic or a basement dungeon

But the car goes, but I just feel it could stop any moment.

And it loves this thing called petrol...very thirsty!!
