Hey guys.
I've just bought a 6000 HID kit for the 07 CL9 and tried researching posts on here and google and youtube and no clear cut instructions on how to install.

I can see that there are 2 wire clips (I'm assuming positive and negative) that 1 connects to behind standard low veam bulb and other 1 connects to the top of the housing.

Just wondering if I have to remove the front bumper to install the HID kit or do i just have to force out the 2 wire clips and "maybe" drill a hole behind the round headlight cover for the ballast box wires to go through (which i really do not want to do)..

Has anyone else installed a HID kit in their CL9?? If so, how did you bypast removing the front bumper and not drilling a hole in the round headlight cover?

Thanks in advance guys!

No base model TSX though? So would all come standard with HID's.

6000K HID's in halogen projectors, no washers, no auto leveller? Just don't. Fit some OSRAM Cool Blue Intense or similar or buy a Lux with stock HID's.

Are the OSRAM Cool Blue Intense 4200k any good? I think id prefer a more whiter color such as the cool blue hyper @ 5000k.. where do you recommend i purchase tomorrow from in store for cheap? I really cant wait for delivery time from a UK site or ebay..
I've got a limited edition CL9 .. whats so limited about this model besides the bloody front/rear lips and the grill if i dont have stock HIDs!!! Jeezuz!!

The Limited Edition/Sport is based on the base model, so no sunroof and no HID's.
You get the lip kit, grill as you mentioned, also Euro-R wheels (also available on the Lux though), partial leather seats, Euro-R coloured gauges and metal shift knob (assuming manual). Could be some other stuff.

No idea. Personally I'd just run the night breaker unlimited or similar, since they are brighter. Once you go past something like Cool Blue Intese, they will output less usable light than the stock bulbs and probably be illegal for road use.

Hard to beat powerbulbs. 25% off atm too if I recall. Delivery is usually not too bad.

It looks really good doesn't it. So white and awesome.
I too went through a phase where looks is more important than functionality. Then I realised it wasn't very good as I drove through the rain.
