Hey guys,

First time poster but have read numerous helpful threads so thanks all!

So, I have an accord euro luxury late 2006 with an auto tranny and 107,000kms on the clock. When e.g I'm in 3rd gear and I put my foot down, the revs climb say from 1.5k to 3.5k before the car actually accelerates at all. Once it does catch on it pulls very hard.

Now, this might be unrelated but I do hear a whine that directly corresponds to the engine rpm. This sound exists when I'm in park, drive and in any gear for that matter.

Not too sure if a trans flush would do it justice but any help would be appareciated.

Start with a flush of fluid.

And pray it fixes it...

I will do the flush at the end of the month. I will take it to hanny's performance. Shouldn't be more than $150?

Cheers

It should be more than 150.

A full flush uses over 9 litres of transmission fluid.

Honda genuine fluid is 70 bucks for 4 litres by itself. You can do the math

Okay so I should budget around $300 I'll give hanny a call later this week or next
