So my abs light usually comes on for a few seconds before turning my car on but now the abs light is staying on while I drive. I've check for malfunction codes and got a code 11 (drivers side abs sensor). When checking the malfunction code it will only do it once instead of repeating code over as usual. I'm confused as the cxi does not come with abs. So far I've rest ecu, checked brake fluid. Should I just remove the bulb behind the cluster? Or is there something else I should do??

GLI's don't have ABS either, which is besides the point
Your car doesn't have an ABS system so it cannot generate ABS codes. You'll need to find out what that light corresponds to on a CXI cluster...

I bought it with a gli cluster but currently have ek4 cluster. I want to just remove the bulb but is giving me the code. Could it just be an ecu error?

The orange plug behind the cluster is for the abs. It just had to be unplugged

Why dont you look at where the sensor goes.
Its near the brake caliper to see if you actually have abs.
Not too sure about CXI, but both my EM1's had abs.
