hi im new here and have just bought a 2006 accord euro luxry and the sat nav has version 13, not real handy as it doesnt have my own street let alone all the new streets and motorways. so i decided to ring and enquire with Honda and nearly spewed when they gave me a price!!!!! just enquiring if anyone has a newer version for sale or could point me in the right direction to get a cheaper copy. Would a Honda wrecker have any? if anyone has one that they want to get rid of please let me know.
cheers

You must have got a cheap quote. They quoted me over $450 delivered. It's disgusting they charge that much

Haha, I was quoted $550 for a CU2 sat nav disk.
It's funny because all they do is take the existing WhereIS maps (which cost like $180), and add Honda Icons for dealers in Australia. Then mark the price up to UNGODLY amounts of money.

Was thinking about that, but unsure if it would work?
I know about a disk copy process called "bit-for-bit" copy, which theoretically should work. But not sure.
Anyone tried before?

I'm happy to jump on board if the duplicating process can be confirmed 100%

That's a bit above my computer abilities. Anyone else have any ideas. I found a guy on ebay but he doesn't post. I asked him if he would consider posting but he wants me to deposit straight into his bank outside of eBay so I'm a bit weary of doing that.

First try this method of copying the disc using a program called 'poweriso'
It's a simple process, the tutorial is found at this link www.poweriso.com/tutorials/iso-maker.htm
Once you've created the iso file, upload it to Dropbox and provide us the link to download. We can then use that iso file to burn directly to a disc.
If all goes well, you'll receive a nice donation for your trouble!
