Aftermarket ECU - Ignition signal inputs?

I have a B16A with an Autronic ecu that I am trying to set up. I am getting erratic crank signals.

How have you set yours up considering the Honda ignition system has Crank, TDC & CYL?
Most aftermarket ecu's only require Crank & CYL.

Next question then, is there a difference between B16 and B18 distributor? Are they different for Vtec too?

All sorted. I had to close the gap between the sensor and rotor from 0.179mm to 0.076mm.
Small but enough to cause problems.
