[CL9] Steering wheel

Hi there,

Has anyone replaced the seering wheel for the accord euro with better ones? I prefer a more premium and thicker feel to the standard unit.

I replaced the steering wheel on my other car (1995 lancer) with a momo steering wheel (smaller in diameter, thicker and leather) and that was good. Obviously replacing the steering wheel on the lancer would be much easier as there is no airbag or switches on it.

The problem is the airbag, and you lose your radio buttons and cruise control.

I noticed on you tube where an aftermarket company made a sporty steering wheel for a Mazda 3.
The market understandably will be small for this sort of thing and maybe not worthwhile making it.
I ordered a steering wheel cover from Amazon, hopefully it will improve the feel (thicker) a little.
