Would need new piping for the axel back. Would have to be made shorter as the coupe is 265mm longer than the hatch. The wheelbase is the same so I think you could use the B pipe, just not the axel back part.

Just chopping it kinda defeats the purpose of buying a quality Japanese exhaust?
I think the axel bend shape might be different. It’s better to budget for new piping than budgeting for “just chopping it” and finding out u need to get new piping

true... but i always thought it was same all the way up to the axle back and AFTER the bend... so i was thinking chopping AFTER the bend = no problems and then jsut re-weld the muffler on... : )

I thought the axel back join was slightly before the axel. Is it stainless steel or just a plain steel exhaust, if it’s stainless I don’t think u can do a backyard job on it. need a special type of welder. its probally still going to cost 50-60 bucks for it to be changed.

50-60 bucks is including installation right...

depends on how long its going to take to modify. best call some places and see what they want. will probally want 100 bucks including fitting but dont quote me on that.
