Hi Everyone,
I've been looking at doing a Ecu tuning to my car for a while, but been having issues finding information about the Australian CL9 07 model.
Basically as I understand it the only way to tune is to by Hondata unit and also an American Tsx ecu.
What I want to know is if I can buy a hondata unit that I can plug into my odb2 Port and tune from there.
I also know that there are differences in ecu between the early 03-04 euros and 05-07 euros.
Any help will be appreciated.

What you need (same as TSX 04-06 owners), two items:
*Acura TSX ECU 07-08 AT or MT, depends what gearbox you have (possible to get used for 150 USD if you search hard)
*Hondata FlashPro unit for Acura TSX 04-06 (Marcus from Heeltoeauto.com can offer you)
Also Honda dealer required to pair you immo to new ECU (For CL9 euro 2006-2008 users OEM immo module works, didn't had a chance to test 2003-2005 but I believe that it will work also)

Judging by that you need a TSX ecu to even try to tune it.

You can do a reflash with the aussie ecu and that's about it...
Usdm ecu for post facelift use a different processor so it's ... can bus friendly.

So if it is possible to do a reflash on the Aussie ECUs, is there something I can buy so i can reflash when I want to?

No. The reflash is like the VW revo tunes, it's hardwired into the ecu. Not the obd port.

Thought I should update everyone on this post.
I got my accord euro reflashed on Saturday.
Man does it drive better.
Really loving it.
I got it through a Sergey "Littlebo".
He had a person in Sydney called Evan Polos who did the reflash.
Worked awesome.

Does it improve low end torque?

Short answer yes.
Long answer. It isn't a massive difference but you can feel it

Great that you got this done. Does it operate as the web site suggests, vtec starts sooner? Hows the economy , any improvement? Also what suburb in Sydney did you get it done. Thanks in advance, interested but like my great economy too!!

VTEC kicks in at 4.5 instead of 6000 and stays to the new higher redline of 7600.
Economy. So far IRS the same as normal. I usually got between 7.2-8.4 litres before the ECU tune with mixes of freeway and city driving. And now with 2 tanks in I'm getting the same.
Just depends how much you floor it really.
It hasn't increased fuel consumption at all.
It was in Coogee 2034 Sydney.
I live on the coast and it took about 2 hours to get there lol
