well, be careful guys!!! i had a run b4 with a very old white jaguar sovreign, in my previous s2000. we had a little drag at the lights and get this, when i revved up till 9000rpm and shifted to 2nd, he was still on 1st!!!! yes.. smoked me all the way man!!!! caught up with him on the next lights and asked him, whats under the hood man??? guess what, rotary 20b twin turbs man!!! i was like.. wtf???!!!!!!

i raced this old mirage cyborg something at wsid! was fun to run a similarly powered n/a car instead of a 12 second rex haha. im not sure of the specs of a mirage cyborg r or whatever, but i beat it and ran a 15.1 and he got 15.6!

Has anyone raced a corolla sportivo? I'm interested to know how hard they go. Since there power rating is at 140kw or something compared with da 118kw rating in da B16.

for 141kw (managed to get an extra 1kw more than the celica due to gearbox) they arent extremely quick from what i have read/heard...prolly be a close match between a s'tivo and an ek4...

ive run one before (in my old b18a) and 0-100 was quite even.. he slightly pulled away in 3rd

looking at my magazine now.. it says
0-100 8.5 secs
1/4 mile in 16.2

interesting that the figures for the corolla conquest 100kw are
0-100 in 9 secs
1/4 mile in 16.4

an extra 41 kw's made it 0.2 secs quicker down the 1/4

the 141kw figure is without water pump, power steering, and all accessories running off the engine. the power figures are quite skewed because of it.
The're not as quick as you think.

i belive that toyota got in trouble because of this marketing.
