Replace 2016 rear bumper with 2009 GE bumper?

My wife loves her 2009 Jazz but would like a new one with a 1.5L engine rather than her 1.3L.
She doesn't like the rear bumper on the current or the in-between model.
My thought was to replace the 2016 bumper with a 2009 one.
Is it physically possible?

It won't bolt straight on and there would be a huge amount of modification required to make things line up. Of course with enough time, skill and money anything is possible, but this is not a good plan.
I guess the only thing she could have an issue with is the big black 'vents'. Why not just paint them body colour?
