Auto time-outs?

Hiya

How quickly does the inactivity timer on this site kick in?

I find that I need to constantly log back in, especially if I have taken a while typing up a submission.

I guess the system doesn't register typing or auto saving as activity..? or are there cookies involved?

This is not a criticism, just wondering if my experience is normal, or whether I should adjust my browser settings.

I get that shit to op, the only way around it is to hit the 'remember me' box when you're logging in.

Site seems flawless when "keep logged in" box is ticked.
When you are browsing without cookies or on a mobile device or both it can drop out
