Has anyone ever tried to install gas struts for the bonnet before?

I've tried to see if there is a kit for the euro, but there only seems to be for the standard accord instead. Would anyone else know if this would fit?

I saw a might car mod video where they installed it on their s2000 and thought why not do it for the euro

Thanks for the link.
Doesn't seem like there is a seller in Australia though. This would take a month.

Has anyone had any experience with gas struts before?

Are they useful?

They are useful in the sense that you dont need to fiddle and find the holder but remember that like with your shocks, a bad quality one will fail and not hold your bonnet up making it worse than using the stick

even OEM ones are generally gone in a car with 10 years on it
