mums got a mint little gd vtis 1.5 manual. its done 130 thous kms. it has new plugs, new coils, ive swapped the temp sensor for another, cleaned out and changed the egr, new air filter etc. the pcv seems to be working, ive popped the hose off, and blew air and then sucked on the hose, and it opened and closed fine.
it has a miss at idle every now and then, and if you hold it at a steady speed above 80 it has a hesitation, its only just noticeable, it wont pull if you have it in too high a gear ( like my 1.3 ge will ) but it goes ok if you give it plenty of revs. The car isn't as good on fuel as mums last vti cvt, no matter how gentle you drive it.
anyone got any other ideas?
